Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, international development or a related field. Training in gender and development is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration or related area are required. Experience in the Latin America and Caribbean region is highly desirable.
English and French are the working languages of the UN Secretariat. For this post, Advanced knowledge of English and Spanish is required, knowledge of one of the other official languages of the UN Secretariat (both oral and written) is desirable.
